Wildcat Workers at North Side
Sixth grade students get to participate in citizenship jobs within our school building. Activities could include: reading with younger students, flashcards, writing, and helping teachers around the classroom. This is a great way for our sixth graders to become positive role-models for the younger students as well as gain necessary skills to succeed in life.
August Students of the Month
New for the 2010—2011 school year is a recognition program for students in which teachers nominate students from each of their classrooms based upon the Six Character Counts Pillars. Students nominated for this honor each month receive a certificate, free food coupons from area restaurants and their pictures are posted in the entry hallway.
For the month of August we have been focusing on the character trait of responsibility. The staff and students of North Side would like to congratulate the following students for the month of August:
